My Modifications for ZWOD1 are:
Running Plank x 10 (also known as mountain climbers)
Burpees (without pushup) x5
Squat leg lift x 40
side plank lifts (I use a balance ball) 10/10
Skater squats x10/10
burpees x 5
I can't believe there isn't an easier way to add this into the fitness tracker. Especially Mountain Climbers since Coach Nicole has them in her videos.

I have a lot of physical limitations due to medical reasons. I have been able to modify pretty much all of the exercises. For the pistol squats, I just hold onto a chair, hold one foot out in front of me and squat as low as I can go (not very low right now).
The song Low Low Low just popped into my head. hahah.
Anyway, don't give up. I can't do burpees so what I do is jump in the air 10 times then do 10 pushups then 10 high knee steps.

Pistol Squats! REALLY? What SadoMasochist created that exercise? and do they really belong in workout #1? Well, I can say I tried. I can also say... my brain says yes yes yes... go for it. But my knee says... "Shut up brain"
I am gonna have to substitute skater squats in their place until I can meet with a trainer to find out if I'm doing something wrong before I hurt myself.
Further reflections are making me rethink this whole ZWOW thing. I think I'm gonna watch the vids first... make my modifications....and then do them...These workouts are really aimed at someone in much better overall shape than I am ... or ever will be for that matter.

You are absolutely hysterical. I chuckled the entire time I read your post. Mostly because I can totally relate to most of it. heheh.

Hi, I'm Gayle... and I'm a procrastinator.
I have lurked around Bodyrocker.tv for a year or so... but the site is simply SO confusing and the workouts so crazy advanced... that I simply watch them and laugh....
First: I don't jump - - I'm only in my 40's and I've had 2 kids.... many of you ladies understand... I don't jump and I cross my legs when I laugh, cough and sneeze.
Second: I don't do pushups. My wonderful husband gave me my pre-pregnancy boobies back after our second child was born. The doctor said... "No Pushups"... I'm like... "darn.. and I enjoy them so much, especially the orange ones."
These workouts look very high intensity and I can work around those maneuvers that I can't or won't do. I'm hoping to get back to my goal weight by bikini season. I was almost there in April 2011, we went to Costa Rica... and I brought a little bacterial bug back with me. :( After several weeks of not being able to eat anything and keep it down, I went below my goal weight..... THEN!!! I got to where I could eat again.... and I made up for lost time. I ate everything in sight. I was also still very weak from being sick, so I got absolutely zero exercise....
So, alas, that is where we now sit. I am only 7 pound below where I was the day I DELIVERED my second child. Yep, I am officially pregnancy weight and I am not happy about it. Time to make a change.!
oh.. yeah... and stop procrastinating...... I'm starting the the WarriorZ challenge with video #1 tomorrow (lol... pun intended)... The kids start back to school tomorrow... perfect timing.
