This is an older post, but I realized I never answered it, so I thought i would! :)

I think it would be fun if we got to know a little bit about each other. If you'd like to participate, please copy and paste the questions below into a new post and then add your answers.

1. What made you decide it was time to lose weight and become fit and healthy?
The first time? It was when my entire life got overhauled, so that was part of it.
The most recent time (as of 3 weeks ago) my uncle had a heart attack. Everyone thought he was so healthy, because he's really fit, but his artery was like 99% clogged. Luckily he survived.

2. How long have you been a member of SparkPeople?
Since 2011

3. Did you read The Spark? If so, how are you applying it to your weight loss adventure?
Yes, the fast break is awesome

4. What types of exercise do you include in your fitness regimen?
Yoga

5. Which SparkPeople feature has been most beneficial to you in achieving your goals?
The trackers and articles

6. Do you have any personal heroes? Who are they?
Not really

7. How do you manage your stress?
Yoga, deep breathing

8. What do you like to do in your free time?
Read, sometimes bike

9. If a movie were being made about your life, what would it be called and who would have the starring role?
no clue :)

10. What’s your favorite gift to give yourself?
A new haircut; always makes me feel pampered.

Are you hiding from who you could be?

I think it would be fun if we got to know a little bit about each other. If you'd like to participate, please copy and paste the questions below into a new post and then add your answers.

1. What made you decide it was time to lose weight and become fit and healthy?
answer: I saw a picture and decided that I do NOT want to look like that anymore. Plus I had major back surgery and have DDD that will benefit from carrying around less of a load.

2. How long have you been a member of SparkPeople?
answer: I joined in early 2013, but then took a break due to work (huge mistake).

3. Did you read The Spark? If so, how are you applying it to your weight loss adventure?
answer: No--but I think I have it on my Nook.

4. What types of exercise do you include in your fitness regimen?
answer: walking, weight training, pilates, yoga. Almost anything and everything except high impact work-outs because of my back.

5. Which SparkPeople feature has been most beneficial to you in achieving your goals?
answer: the teams and the people I've met! So much support and motivation!

6. Do you have any personal heroes? Who are they?
answer: Not really---probably my mother. She was born with a congenital hole in her heart which left only half her heart functioning. She had 2 kids and outlived the doctor's predictions by 15 years. She accomplished so much that she was told she shouldn't or couldn't do. I hope to be a third of the woman she was.

7. How do you manage your stress?
answer: well I used to eat my feelings. Now I try to work out, journal, vent...just let it out and ask my husband for hugs. Because I realize eating my feelings is NOT a good idea.

8. What do you like to do in your free time?
answer: My husband and I ride a Harley. Plus we love spending time with family. And I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to read. I also love to study and work on my knowledge base for my career.

9. If a movie were being made about your life, what would it be called and who would have the starring role?
answer: OMG--no clue. It would be a drama-comedy (dramady??). But I'm not sure who would be in it.

10. What’s your favorite gift to give yourself?
answer: Zoya nail polish and Dooney & Bourke purses. Although The purses are pricey they last forever and now I want a new purse. lol

1. What made you decide it was time to lose weight and become fit and healthy? Just sick of being fat. don't want to have to take meds for weight related health issues as I get older.

2. How long have you been a member of SparkPeople? Since 3/21/2007

3. Did you read The Spark? No

4. What types of exercise do you include in your fitness regimen? IF I had a fitness regimen, I would do free weight strength training, hula cardio, & yoga.

5. Which SparkPeople feature has been most beneficial to you in achieving your goals? Food Tracker and Sparkteams/friends.

6. Do you have any personal heroes? Who are they? No, can't say that I do. There are many people I admire for different reasons.

7. How do you manage your stress? You mean stress can be handled? LOL! Write, spark, watch movies, listen to music, read sometimes, not as much as I used to unfortunately.

8. What do you like to do in your free time? Spark, watch movies, listen to music, write, read ... apparently all my free time is me trying to deal with my stress.

9. If a movie were being made about your life, what would it be called and who would have the starring role? Don't know what I'd call it... There Ought to Be More Dancing, perhaps, but Helena Bonham Carter could be me... yeah, I think she's cool enough hahaha... or perhaps scream queen Barbara Steel from back in the day... this would have to be a horror movie of sorts, of course.

10. What’s your favorite gift to give yourself? usually books & journals, make up, movies... eventually it will be my first tattoo.

I have never done this getting to know you list we do with our new joiners so I thought it was high time I did it too. Hugs

1.What made you decide it was time to lose weight and become fit and healthy?
My Doctor finally put it all into the right words and hit me where the rubber meets the road, but I had already been slowly getting to that point before hand, he was just the last straw.

2. How long have you been a member of SparkPeople?
Since August 2012.

3. Did you read The Spark? If so, how are you applying it to your weight loss adventure?
I have started reading it but I am just on Chapter three so I will see about the second answer.

4. What types of exercise do you include in your fitness regimen?
Wlaking, Strength training (weight lifting), Zumba, & will now add iceskating.

5. Which SparkPeople feature has been most beneficial to you in achieving your goals?

6. Do you have any personal heroes? Who are they?
I admire alot of things about Oprah Winfrey, mostly all of her charity work and the school she started, and trying to better herself over the years.

7. How do you manage your stress?
It used to be eating or hiding in bed. Now it is walking, listening to music I like, talking with sisters or on my blog.

8. What do you like to do in your free time?
What free time, lol. Right now it is walking and I plan Iceskating, but I also love scrapbooking and crafting, puzzles and online computer games, but I have them on the backburner right now for more active things.

9. If a movie were being made about your life, what would it be called and who would have the starring role?
It would probably be called "What was I thinking" And I don't know a actor I would throw that burden on, but It would have to be a comedian that can laugh at herself, maybe Ellen Degenerous with Dark Hair.

10. What’s your favorite gift to give yourself?
New clothes. I love tops. Maybe some day I can add jeans. I look forard to walking in any ol store and just picking a pair of cute jeans of the hanger and saying yeah I want these. lol

Welcome Vicki & Paula, I hope you are liking our team so far and getting the support you need to succeed in your goals. Try out the different threads here if you still are figuring things out. It took me a couple of months to figure out the sparkpeople world. But I am not tech savvy at all either. Susan

My name is Vicki. I'm 56 and I have 80 lbs to lose total to reach my first major goal. Once I get there I'll decide if I want to go lower or not. I'm tall ( 5'9" ) so I can weigh a little more than someone shorter could. Right now I think if I can reach 180 and stay at that weight I'll be doing good. I want to be at a weight where I don't have the constant struggle to keep it there. And at that weight I'll be able to get back off the blood pressure pills and hopefully have a lot more energy.

I just play recreationally. I actually met my husband as a result of playing chess with other students in college. Now and then I've played quite a bit with friends and family, though not as much recently. The 1,001 part aludes to my studying Arabic as a minor in college, and a resultant ongoing interest I have in the region.

1. What made you decide it was time to lose weight and become fit and healthy?
I hit my pre-pregnancy weight last year during the holidays. Pre-pregnancy for the baby I had when I was 40.
2. How long have you been a member of SparkPeople?
Sort of since 2008, but I was active for a few months in 2009 and then I did a big 3 month push before my 40th birthday. Then I had the baby. Then I came back for reals January of 2012.
3. Did you read The Spark? If so, how are you applying it to your weight loss adventure?
I read the Spark this spring (2012) and at first it seemed really basic. I'm used to kind of fancy schmancy diet books. But motivation really is the thing.
4. What types of exercise do you include in your fitness regimen?
I used to exercycle a lot, now I walk more, and I do a lot of strength training, especially upper body.
5. Which SparkPeople feature has been most beneficial to you in achieving your goals?
The food tracker has made a huge difference for me. When I was younger I thought fitness was key, and it totally is, but just tracking food has given me such great results, I can't believe I didn't do this years ago.
6. Do you have any personal heroes? Who are they?
My older brother has been a fitness fanatic since he was 12, and I get a lot of inspiration from him. He's been a rowing coach and does personal training now. I trained with him in 2010. My older sister lost a lot of weight, and got down to her normal BMI, which really helped me see it was possible. My mom was overweight her whole life but finally got it together about 12 years ago, which gives me a lot of hope that no matter how old you are, you can make lasting change. And then one of the first people got to know here on Sparkpeople, AwesomeCarol55, had her weeks of maintenance posted and that really made an impression on me of where I wanted to be in a year and a half.
7. How do you manage your stress?
blogging, 12 step recovery for codependency, cognitive reframing.
8. What do you like to do in your free time?
I'm a stay at home mom for the time being. I like to cook and chat online. When the baby gets older, I hope to get back to more visual arts like photography and drawing.
9. If a movie were being made about your life, what would it be called and who would have the starring role?
1,001 Rooks. (I actually submitted a short screenplay called "1,001 pawns" once.) who would play me? Maybe Jennifer Tilly?
10. What’s your favorite gift to give yourself?
crafting time! I'm working on a Dr. Who scarf.

1. What made you decide it was time to lose weight and become fit and healthy? Basically been up and down since 1992 when I first lost weight. My recent motivation was the increasing facial spread and double chin.

2. How long have you been a member of Spark People? Since August 8 ,12

3. Did you read The Spark? I bought the Spark but have not gotten far.

4. What types of exercise do you include in your fitness regimen? Weight training, walking, swimming and am a beginning jogger.

5. Which Spark People feature has been most beneficial to you in achieving your goals. Blogging - very cathartic.

6. Do you have any personal heroes? Yes - my mom, my grandmothers. Fictious people - Princess Leia, Ellen Ripley (Alien movies) - basically any butt-kicking movie brunette who fought for what she believed in.

7. How do you manage your stress? Deep breathing, visualize my children laughing and playing, prayer after prayer after prayer, a good blubbering cry fest in private to clear my mind.

8. What do you like to do in your free time? Play piano, exercise (especially walks around my cul-de-sac while my kids play outside - I can see and hear them at all times), putz around the house going wee chores, clear out the house through eBay selling (very satisfying).

9. If a movie were being made about your life, what would it be called and who would have the starring role? A long time ago it would have been called "Meet Me at the Edison" starring Bette Midler as me (the title refers to significant events in my life that have ceased to be important). Now I imagine me writing a book about events in my life, something along the lines of "My Life in Science: Tales from the Lab and Front Office" - it would then be made into a movie starring a butt-kicking natural brunette - an unknown hand-picked by me! :)

10. What’s your favorite gift to give yourself? Ice cream, yes I know it is bad to reward oneself with food, but ice cream is magical and it will continue to be my go-to self present!!

The minefields of life NEVER go away. We just get better at navigating them. (from Necessary Roughness on USA)

2. How long have you been a member of Spark People? Since August 12,2009

3. Did you read The Spark? I bought the Spark but have not finished reading it yet.

1. What made you decide it was time to lose weight and become fit and healthy? I grew out of my size 8 jeans. emoticon

2. How long have you been a member of SparkPeople? Well I signed up for it in 2007, but I really didn't participate or utilize the tools until May of 2012.

3. Did you read The Spark? If so, how are you applying it to your weight loss adventure? Yes and I made a vision collage and try to find at least a few motivational pictures each week. I also try to take small steps to achieve my goals so I don't get overwhelmed.

4. What types of exercise do you include in your fitness regimen? Cardio and strength training. I use DVD's (Leslie Sansone, Coach Nicoles 28 Day Bootcamp, The Firm Bootcamp, even got crazy last year and did Insanity for a couple months) resistance bands, hand held weights, jogging, walking, riding stationery bike, dancing.

5. Which SparkPeople feature has been most beneficial to you in achieving your goals? Well, I haven't achieved my goal weight yet, but I'm finding the food and fitness trackers are very helpful. Earning spark points is a great motivator too and I think Spark friends are the best! Love the inspiration and encouragement available from the boards and teams.

6. Do you have any personal heroes? I really admire folks who do things for others without any bells or whistles or accolades...sort of Unsung heroes. Who are they? Too many to mention! My mother-in-law, my friend Barbara, the guy or gal who sees someone needing a hand and they jump right in, the person who diffuses a volatile situation with kindness.

7. How do you manage your stress? I pray, I journal or just write myself a letter, I talk it out with a good friend or family member. I exercise.

8. What do you like to do in your free time? Play with my grandson, watch a good movie with my hubby and / or my sons, read a good book, bake something yummy, come up with ideas for my next quilt, work in my little garden, go shopping, or just window shop, swim (wish I had a pool!), play games, take a walk, make lists of how I would spend a big lottery win, :) spark!

9. If a movie were being made about your life, what would it be called and who would have the starring role? Perfectly Me! Me, of course!

10. What’s your favorite gift to give yourself? A healthier lifestyle!

The strength training is something I took a long time to get into. I just started a few months ago and, I have to admit, it's making a big difference.

I love Ellen! She's a great choice to star in your movie!

I also love dogs and have 5 of my own. I love the pic of Jasper you have on your SparkPage!

I just drove through the Adirondacks last weekend. It beautiful there, especially this time of year. I can see why you like to travel there.

Welcome to the team!

1. What made you decide it was time to lose weight and become fit and healthy?

I have fibromyalgia, and in 2008 I had enough of being chronically sick and tired. So I started walking, and I started losing weight. And I felt better. So I kept going. :)

2. How long have you been a member of SparkPeople?

I have been a Spark member since January 2008, so almost 5 years!

3. Did you read The Spark? If so, how are you applying it to your weight loss adventure?

Yes, I read it, but I didn't find much new information that I hadn't already learned from the website here.

4. What types of exercise do you include in your fitness regimen?

Walking, Running, Ice Skating, Snowshoeing (need to work on strength training)

5. Which SparkPeople feature has been most beneficial to you in achieving your goals?

My Dad, who passed away in 2004.

7. How do you manage your stress?

Walk or run

8. What do you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy reading, gardening, painting/drawing, photography, playing with my pup Jasper, and traveling to the Adirondacks with my hubby and Jasper

9. If a movie were being made about your life, what would it be called and who would have the starring role?

My life story would make a great comedy. The title would be "Oh Pattie!" (something I hear a lot) and Ellen DeGeneres would have the lead.

10. What’s your favorite gift to give yourself?

Whenever I complete a race or meet a goal, I reward myself with something that pertains to my fitness--running clothes, shoes, music or gadgets

Hi, Shannon! The Spark is a book written by the founder of SP, Chris Downey (a.k.a., Spark Guy). It came out a few years ago. I read it then, but I just started rereading it because I wanted to 'refresh" myself and learn to apply the concepts in new ways.

Welcome to the team!

1. What made you decide it was time to lose weight and become fit and healthy?

We went on vacation and I didn't like how I looked in the pictures. I decided that the mirror lies but the camera tells the truth. I also want to keep up with my three kids and be an active grandparent (many years from now!)

2. How long have you been a member of SparkPeople?

I joined in mid-July 2012.

3. Did you read The Spark? If so, how are you applying it to your weight loss adventure?

Huh? I read the articles on the main page...interesting stuff.

4. What types of exercise do you include in your fitness regimen?

I walk around my neighborhood early in the morning, before the sun comes up and before sane people are up and about. So many other things come up once the kids are awake that this habit has been my successmaker. I don't want to join a gym, because I feel like there is so much else I can do for free to get in shape and I've done the gym-thing before without much success. I also started a "clean-eating" menu from E-Meals.com.

5. Which SparkPeople feature has been most beneficial to you in achieving your goals?

The nutrition tracker. I also track my fitness and water, but nothing helps like logging the food!

6. Do you have any personal heroes? Who are they?

As far as weight loss goes, I really admire some of the blogs I've read here on SP. I like to hear about people who have just made up their mind to do something and then not let anything stop them. It makes me realize that I can do it, too. SP uses real people, not movie stars with personal trainers, to motivate and inspire.

7. How do you manage your stress?

I love to read and be creative. I also just like being with my family.

8. What do you like to do in your free time?

I sew and craft. Read books.

9. If a movie were being made about your life, what would it be called and who would have the starring role?

I'd rather my life story be published as a book first. I've found that the book is always better than the movie, and more satisfying.

10. What’s your favorite gift to give yourself?

I love starting a new book and taking walks in the fall.

Do what you love. Love what you do.

Lord, help me to be the person my dog thinks I am.

1. What made you decide it was time to lose weight and become fit and healthy?

Looking at pictures of myself on holidays - I thought I looked so fat! I also love clothes and felt I was limited in what I could wear. I wasn't overweight but at the top of my healthy range and for a small frame it doesn't suit me. A BMI of 19 - 21 suits me much better.

2. How long have you been a member of SparkPeople?

1 year. really only active the past three months though.

3. Did you read The Spark? If so, how are you applying it to your weight loss adventure?

I haven't read The Spark. In general I've found the articles on SP brilliant and I've applied lots of things to my life such as:

* Small bursts of exercise instead of the all or nothing mentality I had.

* Making small changes to my diet that all add up: incorporating wholegrains slowly, adding more veg to meals I already cook, focusing on good nutrition rather than calorie counting.

* Drinking 8 glasses of water a day - the tracker is brilliant for counting.

* Tracking food - this has to be the big one. SP also lets me track other nutrients which I think is so important to ensure I'm getting everything my body needs.

4. What types of exercise do you include in your fitness regimen?

Walking, aqua aerobics, strengthening exercises that my physio has prescribed.

5. Which SparkPeople feature has been most beneficial to you in achieving your goals?

The articles are the best feature. I can track my food anywhere but the difference with SP is the advice and motivation the articles give to me.

6. Do you have any personal heroes? Who are they?

There's a lady in work who I really admire. She's in her 50's and looks fab. She's slim, fit, healthy and fashionable. I always see her bring in healthy home cooked meals and she goes to fitness classes weekly. That's where I'd like to be in 25 years time so I need to start in the present day.

7. How do you manage your stress?

I manage stress with meditation, reading, long baths and taking some quiet time for myself.

8. What do you like to do in your free time?

Once a week I do volunteer work with the Big Brother Big Sister programme where I mentor a teenager for a couple of hours. We do different things such as baking, arts and crafts, going for walks, shopping, cinema, coffee and chats. It's something I really enjoy and I'll do it as long as I can. I also really enjoy reading. I love period novels, modern classics, thrillers, anything with a captivating story.

9. If a movie were being made about your life, what would it be called and who would have the starring role?

Angelina Jolie I think. I always think she looks effortlessly elegant.

10. What’s your favorite gift to give yourself?

Clothes! And of course make-up and luxury toiletries.

1. What made you decide it was time to lose weight and become fit and healthy?
The earthquake. Nothing like a national disaster for reminding you of the responsibility to keep yourself fit and healthy.
2. How long have you been a member of SparkPeople?
Since August 2011
3. Did you read The Spark? If so, how are you applying it to your weight loss adventure?
Yes. I liked the stories of people's experiences with the site.
4. What types of exercise do you include in your fitness regimen?
Mostly walking. I do quite a lot of gardening, and sometimes use DVDs and videos, especially for ST.
5. Which SparkPeople feature has been most beneficial to you in achieving your goals?
I like the trackers but I think the social features have helped the most: SFs who are sharing the same experiences, and the challenges that help me to focus on not back-sliding.
6. Do you have any personal heroes? Who are they?
Some SFs who pursue a healthy lifestyle, despite coping with horrendous medical conditions.
7. How do you manage your stress?
Walking, reading, sleep, cats. I have a slight anxiety disorder which is medicated and has made a huge difference to my life.
8. What do you like to do in your free time?
Read, computer games, visit local cafe, garden.
9. If a movie were being made about your life, what would it be called and who would have the starring role?
Organised Chaos amid Ad-Hoccery starring Me!
10. What’s your favorite gift to give yourself?
Love.

1. What made you decide it was time to lose weight and become fit and healthy?
When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, just hours before my surgery as I was snooping in my chart, I saw the "obese" word & it just sort of rubbed me the wrong way. Plus, I didn't want the cancer to come back, so I decided it was time to put on my big girl panties & get it done.
2. How long have you been a member of SparkPeople?
June 2012
3. Did you read The Spark? If so, how are you applying it to your weight loss adventure?
Yes. I really enjoyed the part about setting goals with time limits & having those visual motivators. I have my visual motivators in my office at work, on my cell phone & on my fridge door. Those help keep me in line.
4. What types of exercise do you include in your fitness regimen?
I have very ecletic exercise tastes -- I like a little bit of everything. Zumba, Curves (strenth training & cardio), DVDs that I can do at home (Leslie Sansone, SP Bootcamp DVD, etc). I also enjoy doing the SparkPeople exercise videos on youtube through my Nintendo Wii. I have bad allergies, so unless it's winter, I don't exercise outside very much. I haven't done any running. I always said that I won't run unless I'm being chased & don't want to be caught. emoticon That could change in the future as I get more weight off.
5. Which SparkPeople feature has been most beneficial to you in achieving your goals?
All of it, really. The constant encouragement from the community, honestly tracking my food (no cheating) & tracking my exercise. I dig those SparkPoints, too.
6. Do you have any personal heroes? Who are they?
My dad is my hero. He is the most amazing person. He truly practices unconditional love & not many people can do that. He is also a cancer survivor (stage 3 colon cancer) & he encouraged me when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. He has always been a very hard worker, even in retirement. He has an amazing sense of humor & puts integrity above all else. He is a kind, kind man. I am blessed that he is my dad.
7. How do you manage your stress?
Reading, exercising, taking a hot bath, listening to music.
8. What do you like to do in your free time?
Read, exercise, watch a little TV.
9. If a movie were being made about your life, what would it be called and who would have the starring role?
The Life & Times of Sheila B. I have had a great life so far in my 44 years. I am blessed beyond measure. I would love to see Julia Roberts play the role of me, but I also think it would probably be a pretty boring movie. No fan-fare here -- just a country girl from the sticks of Virginia.
10. What’s your favorite gift to give yourself?
Books for my Kindle & "me" time.

Blessings,
Nillapepsi (Sheila) :-)

1. What made you decide it was time to lose weight and become fit and healthy?
I have fallen in love with the notion of distance running - which is tough at over 200 pounds, cause stuff is extra hurty when that much is pounding on it - but oddly running long distances doesn't really help with weight loss so I am focusing on weight loss separately
2. How long have you been a member of SparkPeople?
4/30/2010 - but refocused as of late July of this year
3. Did you read The Spark? If so, how are you applying it to your weight loss adventure?
Yes - really trying to focus on the small steps, goals, and wins - my previous weight loss attempts have been doomed by frustration over small setbacks
4. What types of exercise do you include in your fitness regimen?
cardio and strength training, working out with my Wii Fit and taking a yoga class weekly as well
Been trying to do more outside stuff like walking and riding my bike (a recent purchase)
Been doing some hiking as well, and a little running, not too much though as I am really trying to mix it up
I ought to get back to doing more DVDs, though I know that will happen more as it gets colder
5. Which SparkPeople feature has been most beneficial to you in achieving your goals?
the friends! (really)
6. Do you have any personal heroes? Who are they?
My spark friends - I don't know any of you well as you are relatively new friends, but know that I appreciate all the support you give everyday! It's a gift that I cannot measure and could never repay so I will just keep trying everyday to earn that gift and make myself proud enough to continue to "show my face" as it were
7. How do you manage your stress?
Reading helps, I also like long baths, and sometimes reading in long baths. Sometimes I go out for a walk, but stress usually hits me in the late evening (well after dark) when walking is not super feasible
8. What do you like to do in your free time?
I read a lot and I watch a fair amount of TV
9. If a movie were being made about your life, what would it be called and who would have the starring role?
Ummm.... How about "1001 American Diets?" 'cause I've tried 'em all! As for who will play me, I'd need an ensemble of actresses to play me throughout since each stage was so different and I am only 29 so we would need folks for several distinct ages.
10. What’s your favorite gift to give yourself?
Books!

1. What made you decide it was time to lose weight and become fit and healthy?
I've had a lot of success losing weight in the past and have always gained it back. I'd basically given up until, a few months ago, I realized how tired I was and how much my body ached. My hips and knees were always sore and I had difficulty getting up from the floor. My weight was making it hard for me to do my job and even harder for me to have fun. I literally was sick and tired of being sick and tired. So I came back here to SP in May and haven't looked back.

2. How long have you been a member of SparkPeople? This time, since May 31, 2012.

3. Did you read The Spark? If so, how are you applying it to your weight loss adventure?
I read "The Spark" when it first came out and don't remember a lot about it. I do remember the vision board (mine is still on my page) and working on setting goals though. I should probably re-read it.

4. What types of exercise do you include in your fitness regimen?
I like to vary my work outs. I do a strength training circuit at the gym, 3 days a week. When the weather's bad, I also do cardio at the gym: treadmill, elliptical torture device, ARC trainer, or stationery bike. I really prefer exercising outside. I walk, jog (my most recent challenge), do water aerobics, and I LOVE to ride my bike.

5. Which SparkPeople feature has been most beneficial to you in achieving your goals?
Hard to say. The Nutrition and Fitness Trackers I definitely couldn't do without, but I also like to blog and help to motivate others.

6. Do you have any personal heroes? Who are they? If I had to say who my heroes are I'd probably pick people like Nelson Mandela, Barrack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and the man who ran in the Olympics this past summer without legs. And, most of all, my son.

7. How do you manage your stress?
I manage my stress by spending quiet time alone, listening to music, reading, and exercising.

8. What do you like to do in your free time? I love spending time with my dogs, Sparking, reading, listening to music, taking long weekends away, watching sports (especially football) and I'm definitely a politics junkie.

9. If a movie were being made about your life, what would it be called and who would have the starring role?
"The Defiant One", starring Katherine Hepburn.

10. What’s your favorite gift to give yourself? This one's easy, the gift of quiet solitude.
