I am Torrey, and I created this group because I know we all struggle with the same things: Stress being top on the list. My health got really bad a few months ago, so I joined a gym. Well, without a workout buddy or accountability, not much has changed overall. My husband is also dealing with some significant health issues. I am hoping that we can band together to create small changes for ourselves, which then translates into better changes for your veteran as well. The only people we can change is ourselves. I am long overdue.
The first week's goals are really easy, yet they are things we forget to do for ourselves. All I want for everyone to focus on the first week is to sleep better and increase your water intake. No exercise is required, unless you want to jump in and start doing it!
I had joined this site a few years ago and really had great success with it. I lost a lot of weight, gained a lot of muscle tone (and energy to go with it!) and I miss that physique and overall sense of well being.
