I joined this group yesterday (I think? It's been so busy lately that I don't always keep track of these things) and wanted to introduce myself.
I am relatively new to running, having 2 5k races under my belt as well as a 4 mile Turkey Trot and another 5k fun run scheduled for December (UGLY SWEATER! WOOHOO!). However, I've been doing some long(ish) runs on Sunday mornings, with some of them getting up to 7 miles or so. So a couple of weeks ago, I decided to sign up for a HM in the Spring near where I live in Memphis.
Alright, so I haven't run my first HM YET...but I plan to on St. Patrick's Day. They already have my cash and everything, so there's no backing out now! My training program starts on January 8.
So I look forward to chatting with you, sharing my experiences, reading about yours and getting to know y'all!
