Welcome Brittney! You will have fun here and I am sure you'll find motivation and support. My 5 year old turned 20 this year - oh my goodness!! HOW can that be when I have not aged a day??? Hard to claim 'baby weight' at this point... :) Although teenage-year stress would put the pounds on a saint! They are behind me too and she is in college, working and seeming to do well. Only 20 minutes away but we still don't see each other much...though I like her to meet me for church, as you can imagine it doesn't always happen.
Hang on to those little ones - they are a lot of fun! Although this age is fun too - we can do 10ks and trail runs together now, and we can drink wine together next year (ok, sometimes this year too...) :)

Im Brittney. Im a 30 yr old stay at home mom of 2 wonderful kids, 3 and 5 yrs old. Ive struggled with my weight ever since puberty. I got made fun of in school yet still had friends who didnt care abt my size. After school, I got into a long term relationship and settled at 220lbs. We eventually got married, and then divorced a yr and a half later. I managed to lose 20lbs in 3 months after moving back home, but found my True Love and started a family soon after. After 2 pregnancies I settled at 236lbs. After searching for the best way to eat for me, I managed to get up to an all time high weight (NOT being pregnant) of 245lbs. I was fed up! I looked into eating a balanced carbs diet and started exercising regularly. Since my birthday I have lost 16lbs and still going strong! I have managed to find the balance between taking care of my family and taking care of MYSELF! I still have my off days but the BIG PICTURE is looking promising :o)
