Hi my name is Jan an I love the idea of this group. I need to feel accountable for my weight lose and weigh ins. To have people out there who are watching what you are doing and to check in with others who also want someone to care that they are on track. My fitness levels are low due to physical problems at the moment, but I am trying to get some in everyday as I am so out of shape I have problems even going up half a flight of stairs. I did this to myself and I am going to get myself healthier.

This team is exactly what I am looking for. I am very serious about exercise. I am a member of a gym and I am an avid walker. I have about sixty pounds to lose. I lost sixty pounds in the past via Weight Watchers. Unfortunately I gained about forty pounds back. I haven't stopped exercising though. I am a vegetarian and I haven't had fast food in three years. You would think I would be thin. I have all the tools needed to succeed. I went on a feeding frenzy for about three months. I take a bunch of medication that doesn't help my weight either. I started back with Weight Watchers about five days ago. I have lost one pound so far!

I am happy to have found this team! I like the small size of it also.

New and Need an Accountability partner for the treadmill.I am here to be kept accountable on a weekly basis. If you have a treadmill and need to be pushed to what you are capable of, I am here for you too. If interested, we can spark mail back and forth during the week or once a week-whatever.
I have been a member since January 1, 2013. I have lost 16 pounds, but I need to become more active on my treadmill. I will soon be 64 years old. (March 19th) I have dengeration of the spine and had two back surgeries Dec. of 2011. Up to now, I have doing about 50-100 minutes a week on the treadmill, (burning 640 calories per week)but I can do better than that if I am held accountable to it.
My goal is to become healthier by losing at least 37 more pounds and to become more physcially active so as to become all that the Lord wants me as I serve Him. I teach Sunday School and teach a Bible Study to women at the local jail.
I would love to meet each member of this team and learn more about your goals and how you are achieving them.

Hi I am from Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. But first from NY. I had Lapband surgery 3 years ago and lost about 96 lbs. I have been trying to get it to be 100 lbs but it is not coming off. I am a co-founder and a leader of a Lapband Surgery group.

I have a fitbit now and I saw Miss Patti is a fitbit person also. Most of our lapband team has fitbits I also saw that she was living in Tn. I lived there for 5 years in Johnson City.

I am married and have a nice husband. I am going to be 65 years old April 1, I am so excited to be getting my health insurance finally. I have 2 kids and they are all grown up. With 1 17 year old grandson. On Fitbit I am momagrok. I look forward to making new friends here.

I would very much appreciate tough love for this part of the journey. The group is small enough that accountability is possible. I absoulutely love Spark & my friends.The understanding and support is phenominal. But I am at the point that I feel lost in a big univeristy. I need someone ready to call me out if I'm sleeping in the classoom. I'm ready for a NO EXCUSE Approach. I plan to listen, learn, do the work (eat right and exercise), turn in the homework (record food and fitness) and take the tests (weight & measurement). I feel very good about this decision. Thanks! Happy to be part of this team. I decided that one thing I need to do to avoid falling in the ditch is make a plan...making sure I have plenty of vegetables on hand too. I can't go anywhere without a driver through end of July (foot surgery 6/18) so getting organized ahead is even more important to me right now.

Hey, my name is Nadia. Been SP since 10/6/11 off & on again. How do I get SERIOUS? I recently lost 15 lbs after ~ 20 years of trying...but am finding myself going back to old habits that put on the excess weight in the first place.
What are the requirements on this team? I need to get real for good...sounds like this team can help me do that. emoticon

Thanks Sue. I thought I had created a Spark Page. I will have to check on it tomorrow when I get back online. I am still getting familiar with Spark. emoticon

Does that mean that we aren't supposed to support others inside the team/group? I am new to this kind of format, but I noticed some people have their pages set to "friends only".

My name is Rena and this is my second account I have had at sparkspeople.. I have been around alot of years.. I have been morbit obese, got the weight off and keet myself within normal parameters since 2007..
Doing this lifestyle change has been a huge thing for me and it has affected my family in a positive way..

Hi Ladies!

I found this team via MOMTOLLERUD81's blog... remember me? =) I've been on sparkpeople for probably about 5+ years. I had a lot of success after baby #1 with a team of wonderful support and accoutability. I'm hoping I can find that kind of team here.

I now have 3 wonderful little boys, 6, 4, & 1. I have a lot of weight to lose... but right now, I just need to see an initial drop of 10 pounds to get the ball rolling!
