Hey y'all...greetings from Missouri. I thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Nicole, and I am a wife, and a mother to two girls that are ages 2 1/2, and 17 mos. I'm also a caregiver in a nursing home. So, needless to say, my life is kind of busy, and reading hasn't always been on the forefront of my mind. My oldest was in the hospital for a couple of days, and I was just bored stiff just watching t.v. for three days. (She had RSV, a very super duty respiratory infection, and she required supplemental oxygen.) My mom had taken my youngest daughter to stay with her, my father and sister, and so I drove myelf and my oldest up there when she was discharged from the hospital. I saw the first book of the series on my sister's shelf, and picked it up to have something to occupy my time while we were waiting for my husband to arrive. (He's a truck driver.) Long story short, after not having read for leisure since high school (8 years ago), or maybe even longer, I finished the book in 3 days! I just couldn't put it down! It was incredible! I have read Catching Fire, and look forward to reading Mockingjay. Catching Fire only took me two days to read. :) I would love to see the movie and make the comparison! Just wanted to give a quick hey, and talk with some like minded folks. :)
I'm going to SHOW-ME that I CAN DO THIS! :D
