Welcome! To answer your introductory questions, yes, it will really work - but only if you want it to and are willing and READY to do what is needed to make it work. We all get ready at different times and for different reasons. Some of us stall, some stop and start again and again. The important thing is to never give up and never give in. 50+year old male with several medical issues.....need to lose about 50 lbs to hopefully aliviate some of these problems....can a support group really jump start this process.....exercise must be somewhat limited (reconstructed foot, colonostomy and illostomy bags )but bike rideing and machine type workouts are ok.......
