Pookasluagh already replied about our challenge that starts today. What she didn't tell you is that she is the queen of plateaus. Her secret to busting them? Keep on doing what you are doing - eat right, work out and ride it out until it breaks. Sometimes she would back off a bit on the workouts or add in a day or so of eating a little more, sometimes she would increase the exercise a bit then go back to normal exercise. I have watched and read her blogs for a good long while so I think I've made a pretty good study of what she went through. The consistent theme was just that....CONSISTENCY. Don't give up, don't give in. Keep the faith and eventually the plateaus break. As to the cravings..I say give in a bit in that I eat a little dark chocolate nearly every day...even just one little square will usually do it for me. Also adding in some unsweetened cocoa to my yogurt or smoothie helps sometimes. Just don't let yourself feel too deprived or you will find yourself giving in too much and going overboard.
