I just VENTURED to the high school gym and did the bike. I had already done the Treadmill at home. I am proud of me venturing out with the SKINNIES

I dont get lunch or a break in 12 hrs and have to take my phone to the potty with me. I tried to print a few of the strengthening exercises on here to do by the chair when no one is around. I have been walking more and using the steps more. I have been letting the house go to heck and taking care of me on my days off to exercise. I park farther away when I run erronds as those are the long term changes that will keep it off.

Barb is there some exercise you can do before work? Or maybe at lunchtime find a class or go for a walk up and down some steps. Than on your days off you can use some weights and what ever cardio you want. After a 12 hour day I would be lucky if I still knew my name.

The 12 hr shifts are killers and when you add an hour commute on each end there is no way to exercise when you are done. I have been focusing on not letting the stress at work at the hospital cause me to eat hi cal food that is always around. I have been taking celery and carrots to crunch on

I think I might have posted this in the wrong spot earlier. Oh well, I'm still learning! My name is Jenee, (thats pronounced like Renee with a J!) and I'm a 28 year old paramedic in NC. I work 12 hours shift and was working nights, but tonight is my last night shift and I start days on Wednesday! Woo! I'm also a first time new mommy to my precious little man, 5 month old Alex. I've done all the diets including weight watchers many times. I am my own worse enemy, once fall of the band wagon I have a hard time getting back on. With Alex as my motivation I'm going to make this weight loss journey stick!
