Accountability man!!! There is another website that specifically helps people out with this. It is basically a way for u to set up a system of accountability for exercise and eating. They do charge a fee, but u have someone monitoring u and contacting u if ur not staying on track. U can do it man...your body is equipped with everything u need, u just gotta fire it up.

Welcome! I second mrlabes recommendation about finding challenges to participate in. They helped me a great deal and they're helping me again as I get back on track.

Good luck! You can do it!

OK: This is a good place to start....You will find that this is a great site! I recomend this site to all my paitent who are trying to loose weight--if they have internet access--yes, there still are actually people out there who don't get "online." emoticon
I would suggest that you identify with a team so that you will have people that you will be "accountable" to. A lot of times people do good with a challenge to work on, so go to the challenges page and find one to fit you! You will be glad you did! Good luck to you!

Aggravated physician in OK, Ph.D. in "Yo-Yo weight management". Goes up every time I get somewhere in losing - sabotage myself if I get too busy, not busy enough, etc.
Spouse s/p gastric bypass, looks great and I am happy for her, but I cannot seem to keep pace.
Will try to stick with walking program and diet record - just what I tell my patients. Something about payback...
