I know for me there are many trigger foods that I just keep away from myself...ALL sugary, starchy things for sure! Instead I keep lots of veggies handy with some fruit. At work I cut up a bowl full of some of my favorite fresh veggies along with an apple for gnoshing on throughout the day. This helps me a great deal.
