When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world

I do believe I tried to send this note before, but I can't seem to find it. In any case I am Aylamay, RN, BSN. I haven't worked for a while, but when I did, I had a wide variety of experiences. Im very glad to be here, so very glad I found you.

I have medical conditions, now stable, and bipolar (mostly stable) disorder. While I was still sick, I was very very inactive--think armchair spudlet. I found a book called "The Spark" recommended for me by Amazon. I have been reading it off and on for the past two months.
Wednesday I went to see my doc and when I stepped on the scale it blew me away. I'm 5'3", and scale said 192 lbs. That's only 7 pounds from my all time high. I had a real SPARK MOMENT. I just knew that I had to change, and I had to do it now. So I got out the book and started reading again. It mentioned the website. Here I am. I have already formulated my meal plan and an exercise plan and even a walking route. I am very excited. I look forward to corresponding with you all.
