HI I'm an ER tech/cna, starting school in the fall towards my RN. Alot going on this year, turning 40 in Nov. I want to be a healthy weight, so I have more energy to do activities w/my family.
Hi. I'm an OR nurse. Welcome to the team!
“Worrying does not empty tomorrow of its troubles…. it empties today of its strength.”
“There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.”
When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world
and to the team. I am a retired Nursing Supervisor. Enjoying the retirement days very much!! Best wishes on your journey to a healthier lifestyle.
Slow & steady makes a winner of us. Even if we hit pitfalls, get up. Know that a new day is right around the corner.
Try to be all that you can be. Work at it a day at a time.
"Be not afraid of going slow; be afraid if standing still" (Chinese Proverb)
With God all things are possible.
If you have the courage to begin, you have the courage to succeed.
