Hello, I am an LPN that works night shift. I am 49 years old , have OA , and find it hard sometimes to have the energy to work out, But most recently I have been doing 60 minutes 5 days a week when I come home from work in the morning. I try to keep my calorie range in between 1200 and 1550 a day , some days i go over , but I just try harder the next day.
I have a lot of work out DVDs that I use, a treadmill, 5 lb and 8 lb free weights, a mini trampoline, and if really motivated I have 45 acres of woods to go hiking in .

One of my biggest problems is my DH ,, He keeps bringing home ,or making, cookies, cakes, pastries, doughnuts, chocolates, ( oh yeah He's type II diabeties ,) We also eat a lot of pasta because He is italian and thats a biggy with his family. He also brings home fried chicken, hamburgers, fries, etc, I can't get him to stop , So I just challenge myself to stay on my program and forget whats in the kitchen, Fridge, or on the counter top.
I am also a MOM , step MOM, and Grandma.
