“There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.”
When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world

I'm too blessed to be stressed and too anointed to be disappointed.

To eat intelligently is an art.
PEACE- it does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still BE CALM IN YOUR HEART.

I'm not new to SP, but am new to this team. Needed to add some variety to my teams, so here I am. I have been a Physical Therapist Assistant for 14 years now, and overweight for most of that time. I work with the physically and mentally challenged population in a community based setting. I like what I do. I gained weight when I met my husband 16 years ago, and continued to do so after we were married. We both did. I always tell people "I got fat and happy".
Decided to join SP to get healthier and lose weight. I need to do something or I will not be able to continue doing my profession as I age. I also have a 6 year old daughter who wants her mommy to be her playmate.
I'm tired of being tired and I don't want to feel old until I am old...maybe around 90 or so. LOL So I am here to work toward a better me! So Hello Everyone!
I am not denying myself anything; I am just choosing something different.
I can do it! I am worth it!
