“There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.”

When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world

Hi everyone!

My name is Kate and I live in N.C. with my husband, Ryan, and our two young daughters (6 and 3). I will be 32 on Nov. 26 and have successfully met almost all of the goals I have set my mind too, with the exception of managing my weight. I have struggled with weight my whole life and am ready to get a handle on it and live a healthy life style.

I am new to Spark People and ran across this team today. I am in health administration, currently consulting but have been a laboratory assistant, medical assistant and practice administrator. For some crazy reason I just keep going back to school. I am currently pursuing my MBA.

I am looking forward to becoming an active part in this team and changing my life while helping others to change theirs.
