Welcome to the team. SP are the best & there are many, many things to learn from this site and people that relly help you stay motivated. Best wishes on your journey.
Slow & steady makes a winner of us. Even if we hit pitfalls, get up. Know that a new day is right around the corner.
Try to be all that you can be. Work at it a day at a time.
"Be not afraid of going slow; be afraid if standing still" (Chinese Proverb)
With God all things are possible.
If you have the courage to begin, you have the courage to succeed.

“There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.”
When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world
Wecome to the team TIGER, I don't have your qualifications unfortunately, and the weather here in Ireland is...not comparable. Having said that; great team; great fora; great people!

SP Class of March 14-20, 2010
I joined SparkPeople a couple years ago but lost my motivation and am just now returning. I am a physician in SC. My unhealthy lifestyle is due to a combination of things. I work two jobs (urgent care full time and psychiatry part time), have 2 young children and a teenage stepdaughter, and a husband that works full time as well. I'm trying to take charge, so I can be an example for my patients. I love the new iPhone app. It has been a great tool and I've used it for the last 4 weeks. Looking forward to some camaraderie from people with common backgrounds.
