There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results. When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. Hi! I have been in health care for a long time, hospital, nursing home, agency, and now school nurse. I have also struggled with my weight for a long time. Actually I do not remember ever being a normal weight. I am only 4 ft 11 inches so any extra pounds has no where to go but out. I am considering lap band surgery. I have went to a seminar and need to be under the care of my physician for 6 months so I am going to try to do it on my own but if I have not made significant progress at the end of 6 months I plan on doing it. I have over 100 pounds to lose. I watch the biggest loser all the time and I know it can be done, I just need help.
