You know what? There is no such thing as an "easy way out"! You've been successful, that is what matters! Holding ONTO that success, that's what matters even MORE! :-)
I am a "failed" gastroplasty from the early 1990's. However, I really did benefit from it. I was originally 450 prior to my gastroplasty, quickly lost down to upper 200's, then gained way back up into the 300's.
Since switching to a low carb approach and using some of the tools here @ SP, along with the WONDERFUL community support, I've been able to kick my losses down and KEEP them down.
I know that sweet high-carbie foods are my trigger and just don't 'go there' anymore. I've cut them all out of my life, like an alcoholic cuts out alcohol when they recover.
Also, my old stomach-stapling STILL assists me if I pay attention. Carbie-foods seem to 'disable' my stomach-stapling warning, however and the bottom drops out when I eat that stuff.
