I lived in Madison, Wisconsin for a little over a year, and began working for UW Health as a receptionist. A week ago I received a promotion within the organization and now work in Behavior Health as a Referral Representative; which has been a goal of mine to obtain a position like this because it uses my interest in Behavior Health and my degree in Sociology (which I guess defines me as Mental Health Professional...kind of weird to think that now, but really cool since I worked hard to get to this point). My job prior to this (reception) stuck me behind a desk a lot, so I did not get a lot of exercise. That and I didn't eat too well, and I have had side effects of medications that has caused me to gain weight. So, I'm getting myself further connected on Spark People with the idea of keeping myself motivated. And, hopefully, continuing to lose weight.
