Heheh. Actually it was a nickname from grade school. Anytime I messed up, a friend would blurt out, "smooth move, rexlax!" Those ex-lax commercials clearly left an impression in someone's mind. And it stuck. But I kinda like it.
-American consumers have no problem with carcinogens, but they will not purchase any product, including floor wax, that has fat in it. - Dave Barry -My doctor told me to stop having intimate dinners for four; unless there are three other people. - Orson Welles -The food here is terrible, and the portions are too small. - Woody Allen

Welcome to the team RELAX! *Love your username, it's a great reminder to...Relax, don't do it...or relax after you do it...lol just being silly.
I know precisely how you feel about the yo-yo dieting since I spent my whole life doing it. I've stopped and am doing good and you will too. Spark is good for whatever ails you, and more than milk, it does a body good!
Hugs and stuff, Pami xoxo

There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results. When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world Breathe in love & compassion.. Breathe out peace & forgiveness. Pacific time

Happy to be part of this sparkteam! I'm a 31 year old psychiatry resident, now currently in my third year of residency. My plan after completing the program is to pursue a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry.
I've battled weight since an early age.... and have yo-yoed for the last time. Working towards losing 45-50 pounds and going back to being a role model towards patients and peers alike!
I've checked some of the other posts, great to see a nice showing of mental health workers out there. :)
Looking forward to being part of this wonderful team!
