Some of the certification depends on what state you are in. Here is one site about EM certification.

I don't really know what the qualifications are for that particular title, but I can tell you that a Registered Dietitian has at least a 4 year degree in nutrition and has to participate in 900 or more hours of practicum work. Then to get the credential of RD there is an examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Then to keep the RD credentials, every 5 years the dietitian must complete 75 continuing education credits.

Hope that helps.

How is this different than a dietician. I have seen a few sites that have certification in consultant certification as well as personal trainer certification.

I want to work someday in firefighting/ems. LIFELONG DREAM, since my excperience with EMS vocational program in high school.

I was just wondering if anyone is specialized in that field and could give me pointers of how to go about getting my certification/degree for it.

Thanks in advance.
