Welcome! Be careful while in nursing school. I spent alot of my time getting any dinner I could between classes, which most of the time included the vending machines. They used to make fun of me for eating my pop tarts, I would actually come back and let them know that I was getting my 7 vitamins and minerals, real fruit servings, dairy in the icing layer on top and grains in the pastry itself. So sad. Good luck on your journey, and congrats on the weight loss to date!
Don't undermine your worth by comparing yourself to others, it is because we are different that makes each one of us special.
welcome,SAUCYJOCIE7...........so glad you are here........look at your ticker goooooooooooooooooooooooooooo congratulations on your success so far...........blessings and hugs.........lita
There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.
When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world
Hi everyone!! I am a recent graduate of a medical assistant 2yr program. I joined sparkpeople not only to loose some extra weight but mostly to be a healthier person. Having been in school full time for 2yrs and working 2 jobs,my health was not my first priority.I needed to gain my energy back and do something for myself. Now i'm eating better and exercising more, and I feel great!!If you don't take of yourself, it's hard to take care of others, which is my ultimate goal.I hope someday to go back to school and get my nursing degree.
