Hello all! I just heard about SparkPeople from a patienr, and decided to check it out to see if it was worth reffering others to the site. Now here I am joining the to-be-healthier community myself.
Stupid question: I'm trying to figure out the nutrient values for a medium-sized avocado (I don't particularly like them, but eat 2 or 3 wwedges a day with a salad, since the avocado helps a person get more nutritional advantage from the salad). The only info I can find here refers to a cup of mashed avocado. I could do the math if I knew how many medium-sized avocados it takes to make a cup of the mashed stuff! Can anyone help please?

Lost weight due to health. I was close to 200 lbs, then it fell off. That's when I found out that I had several health issues. Trying to get back to a healthly weight so I don't look anorexic. Working hard on a healthly lifestyle.

When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world
