Thanks to everyone for being so motivating and kind. I have had a GREAT first day! I kept my calories within my range and I drank all my water. Thanks again for being so supportive!

There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.

When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world

Welcome, i have just joined myself.. and it has been a great week. with the motivation from other members, the menu and work out plan and just seeing my goals everyday has been very helpful. I started at the first of the year and 11 days later i am 10 pounds down. i know that it is mostly fluid this first week and the amount i lose will go down, but it will all add up in the end. good luck to you and again welcome. Virginia emoticon
