Welcome, there are a few of us here. We are at different levels of the program so feel free to jump in and let us know how you are doing!!

Watching salt intake also trying not to buy foods that have high fructose corn syrup, sugar, rice syrup, corn syrup, fructose, sucrose etc. in the first three ingredients.

No foods that have more than 3 ingredients that I can not pronounce.

If an item has more than 10 ingredients I put it on the Do Not Buy List as it is too processed.

Hello .. I'm Richard from Maryland.. Started reading the Blood Sugar solution, (over someones shoulder at first ..then downloaded the book from Kindle to my ipad .. looks like a good time to get back into my Sparks People to track my goals and diet .. the book talks about community of like minded people can really keep you dedicated and invilved and I thought Sparks might have some others following Dr Hyman! .. So here I am .. also looking for Healthy information and apps to load on to my Ipad ... Now the trick is to stick with this long enough that it becomes a habit .. a life style! ... Richard
