I think that every once in a while we get subtle (and not too subtle) reminders to look after ourselves. For me, I can't allow asthma to take control of my life. It's difficult enough to start all over again this year and I don't need any additional setbacks. Thanks for reminding me that vigilance is essential when dealing with chronic asthma.

Hello, I am Ashlee! Asthma isn't a new diagnosis for me however its one that I haven't had to deal with since I was in high school. Recently I had a pretty severe case of pneumonia, it was my fault. I am too busy and forget to care for myself and well it landed me in the hosptial. Well, I am a Zumba Instructor, which isn't an activity that asthma is a friend of. I had to take two weeks off and its just now getting to a place where I am able to control my asthma while teaching, but its been a scary ride. I appreciate this group!
