Hi and welcome to the team! Sorry to hear that you're having such a bad time right now, but you will get through it. Take care of yourself and make sure you're breathing well before you worry about exercise. Hope you feel better soon and be well!

Hi! Welcome to the team! Sorry to hear that you are having such a tough time. It was frustrating for me when I wanted to exercise but could hardly walk from the bed to the bathroom. The most important thing now is for you to breathe. You can still monitor your eating and maybe do some really light dumbbell exercises. Hang in there!

Hi
I have had asthma since I was 13. Had really severe asthma when I was a teenager and had to be hospitalized multiple times. Usually do really well with only needing advair for allergies or sickness and occasional resucue inhaler and 1-2 prednisone tapers a year. So, far this season I am dying just got off prednisone a week ago after a long 2 week taper because everytime I tried to come off got worse. Now I am flaring again and it is driving me crazy because it was so bad today couldn't exercise. And now I am back on prednisone so there is no way I am going to lose weight right now so kinda down. Seems like everytime I try right back again. Well I am going to be positive and probably get my advair increased or try symbicort. I also think I need to go back on singular. Which are all tier 3 medications and I can't afford. God this sucks. Well I will prevail I always do. Glad to have found this team.
