I'm sorry I have only been on a computer for 2 months and I don't know much about it. The article was sent to me by Swanson's vitamins. It was an update from their health library.
The end of the article had:

Journal of Asthma 47(1):83-92,2010

I found other articles:

magnesium/asthma

American Journal of asthma/magnesium

Maybe if you contact Swansonvitamins.com they may be able to get you to the article:

"Magnesium appears to boost lung function in asthmatics" source code=INTHIR356

Sorry I can't be of more help!

I will take each day as it comes.

Hi! I'm new to this group. I just read an article about taking 340 mg of Magnesium for 6 months can help improve lung function. Has anybody heard of this? I'm on Magnesium now for other reasons for about 2 months and I really don't see a change. Maybe it will take longer for me since I have so much trouble. The Drs. don't believe me when I tell them I never smoked. They wonder why my lungs are like this. I've had bronchitis since I was a child. I guess that did it.

I will take each day as it comes.
