Welcome to the team. I do most of my cardio indoors during the cold winter months. So far, I've been able to do it without a rescue inhaler first. Whenever I do cardio outside in the cold, I ALWAYS use my inhaler 15 before and then take it easy. It takes some experimentation to figure out what works best. I check my peak flow reading twice a day and then before and after outside cardio. That has helped a lot in figuring out how I'm really doing.
Hi everyone, I am so excited to see that there is a forum for people with asthma. I have had it all of my life, and although it is mild to moderate it is so hard to handle the cardio end of things. I do my best though to try and stay in shape (but could do better).
What else to say? I am a wife and mother (to a wonderful three year old and precocious cockapoo), work full-time, and just want this year to be my year to get in shape.
