Welcome! Yes, It is so hard when every breath is scary. Perhaps you could start a list of the things you accomplish each day. I bet you would be surprised at the things you are able to do. They may not be glamous, or athletic but they still count. Hang in there!

I like to do the Walk Away the Pounds Dvd's and they are easy on my lungs. I am glad to have you with the team and wish you all the best in reaching your goals. I am having a harder time breathing right now due to being 6 months pregnant and pray I don't have an asthma attack myself. I take it good and slow and don't overdo anything. I have had asthma for a long time since I was born. I am now adult and had to go on disability because of it. I have been off work for 3 years due to my asthma I was working as a nurse in a nursing home for 25 years and my asthma got to the point where my dr was afraid that it would really put me down because my lung weren't in that could of shape. I have started exercising at the y on treadmill and I take it slow. I get very discouraged at times because little things set my asthma off. It gets very discouraging at times. I know that I will not be able to do the things that I did before I just know that I want to stay active. God Bless
