Dear yourfavebandsux, I have been taking singulair
for about 8 years and it helps me tremendously.
Tell your Dr. you can't afford it right now and ask if he has samples you can get til you can afford them.
It is important, don't be ashamed to ask........
God Bless you and take care.......Rebecca

I went to the dr yesterday and I have exercise induced asthma. I have an inhaler but he prescribed Singulair. I do not have insurance so I could not afford the Singulair. Has anyone tried it and does it work because I may be able to get it next month. I know right now even with the inhaler I still cannot work out because I cannot breathe all day. Can anyone help?

When I star an asthma atack, I start coughing!! It took me two years to figure that out!!! The chest tightness is like you take a breath, but not enough air comes through, so you take a bigger, deeper breath, with the same results,, If it were me, I would ask for a referral to an allergist, to rule out asthma and/or allergies!!! A good doctor that has YOUR welfare in mind, would not feel in the least bit threatened to refer you to another...

SIX YEARS SPARKING!!

Lost 66 pounds!

I went to my Dr. yesterday, my lungs were sounding good, to keep taking my inhalers, the mucinex and
allergy meds. The changing of the seasons. I feel pretty good but this dang coughing is aggravating.
I know it takes time to deal with this, so I am hanging in there.
I wish everyone well and to get over the discomfort
from the seasonal changes and the Asthma, been there plenty of times..............Take care and God Bless
Rebecca

I would find a lung doctor so go be tested if it was me. My allergist takes care of my asthma because I also have a ton of allergies. I hope you get some answers and relief.

When mine comes on you feel a chest tightness and I also wheeze. You may not be like the rest of us and I would find a doctor to test you to make sure. If you do have it you can start a mainentance inhaler that could prevent your attacks. I would definitely find a doctor that would help me out.

Ok I am not sure if I have asthma but I noticed a month ago every time I work out I cannot breathe. I went to the doctor and was told I do not have asthma but my sinus's are draining in my throat and I have been breathing so hard I pulled a muscle in my chest. Also she said it may be a panic attack but I dont think it is. For one when I work out I dont think about anything and I do not feel anxious or scared. It just comes over me and I gasp for air for hours on end. Im wondering if anyone has any clue as to what this is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
