Hi Mess-May, welcome to the team! I was diagnosed with asthma at a young age too. I think the best way to cope is just to know your limitations. I know that colds tend to make my asthma flare up so I'm very cafeful about washing my hands and getting enough vit C.

Hello all! I'm new to this team (for some reason it never occured to join a team for asthmatics until now). I have been on sp for 3 weeks now and I have been a diagnosed asthmatic since the age of five. My asthma is very under control (hasn't been bad since I was 12 or 13) but I do notice the tightness in my chest more now that it is getting colder and dry out. How do you cope, besides a puff of the inhaler?
