Helen! (My mother's name)! I'm 69 1/2, so I hear you! While you're on vacation if you can roam around the SparkPeople sites and look at the articles and videos and communities, you should start to get answers to some of the basic questions you have. This community is the very best health and fitness site I've ever seen. Good luck! Talk to you at the end of April!

Hi - My name is Helen. I am a career "yo-yo" dieter. Big expectations, Very little will power. I am 72-1/2 years old and am frankly tired of being overweight. I really want to drop those excess lbs. I can't dive into this right now due to being on vacation. I should be home around the 25th of April, possibly earlier at which time I intend to buy your tracker and start a plan. I figured if dallied in it when I can now, hopefully, I will be ready to go next month. Any suggestions for me to do while I'm away will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
