Thank you all for the welcome... My final rant on the DH thing.... because I do the shopping, he actually ASKS me to buy it. I will continue to work on him to understand how much more difficult it makes getting healthy. On one hand he seems to want to be supportive, but on the other, he sabotages me. Regardless, I am doing this for ME!!!

before my husband also joined Spark (lucky me), he used to bring a lot home, and when I got back into Spark before he came on board, I just asked him to keep it in his garage, which did help - maybe your hubby could find a good spot to keep it all that is out of your way/reach? Regardless, you can do this - we will support you!
Just FYI, a supportive husband would realize how important your health is & agree to have sweets only when he's out somewhere. I went through the same thing when I was married; he provided lip service, bought always brought things home. Can't blame him entirely, tho', as I brought things home myself. Bottom line.....as a team, it helps to both make the commitment. Good luck.
Thought I would introduce myself... My name is Tammy and I obviously have an issue with sweets. That quiz was quite the reality check! I lost 50 pounds a number of years ago and kept it off for 2 years. Since then, I have lost my job twice and have gained back (plus a few) everything I had worked so hard to loose. Sweets is probably only one of the eating issues I have, but I think the best place for me to start the battle. I have been back to work for most of the year, and am working to create better habits. My husband loves to have sweets in the house (he doesn't have a weight issue) which makes this doubly hard.
