I don't like introducing myself. There is SO much to say... and nothing seems to really encompass all I mean, so... with that in mind...
I usually eat in the work dining hall. I found SparkPeople through a friend on Facebook. I have started finding my way around (-: thank u DDOORN for welcoming me as soon as I joined, and answering my few of my questions :-). I started by tracking my water and veggie/fruit servings. I have also set a 1st step weight goal, and have started tracking my nutrition. I posted a couple of blogs, one I expect to refer back to frequently in my other blogs as it concerns my relationship with caffeine.
In addition to being a few (30-50) lbs overweight, I have hypertension (for which I take medication) and my cholesterol is boarder line (for which I don't take medication). I park my car far enough from my office to make it almost a 10 min walk each way (in the morning and the evening). I know this is not much, but it is something that stuck. I am plan to make sure each way is over 10 mins. I think this is an "other goal" for one of the teams I joined. I am trying to get myself OUT of the house every Friday night. Right now the plan is to go out dancing, but I am having limited success with that so far.
So... that feels like a LOT of information already. I LOVE to IM and Message with folks, but I don't always know what to say. Please drop me a line and ask questions. That is the best way to get to know me.
