Here are some more recipes for free from Stephanie the crockpot lady; you can sign up for free emails from her site A Year of Slowcooking, click on index for an alphabetical list, or search by ingredient like you can in SPRecipes and Allrecipes. crockpot365.blogspot.com/ I find Stephanie's recipes more user friendly than SparkRecipes; but SPRecipes you can import if you use Nutrition Tracker . . .
Also her recipes are gluten free, if that's an issue with anyone.
Funny you should mention homemade spagh sauce in crockpot. Do you know Mimi Wilson's OAMC Once a Month Cooking? I use her recipe for Italian Sauce, make it in the crockpot. I freeze portions of it so I always have some on hand for homemade pizza, chicken parmesan, pasta and lasagna dishes, etc.
My crockpot is a lifesaver when I have a fun packed day planned. I have created my own spaghetti sauce and let it go on low for four hours. I have added fresh made sweet Italian Sausage from my local Whole Foods and made such dishes as sausage and spaghetti sauce and what I call Poor Man's Schlopps. If any of you want the recipe for this dish please let me know and I will pass it along. Thanks to the Spark Recipes I've rediscovered new dishes for my crockpot. I think it will wear out before my pots do.
