Hi, Im Carol...Im 46 with husband and 3 boys.
I let myself get heavy due to staying home raising kids and a bad marriage.
I had gestational diebetis with each child...progressively getting worse until with the 3rd child (now 12) I had to take insulin injec.
I have ignored the weight and the sugar until just recently...about a month ago I decided my doc was smarter than me and let him put me on meds. NOW IM PISSED...Im NOT going to stay diabetic and I AM going to loose 100lbs if its the last thing I do.
I am now in a good marriage and starting to have Grandbabies...I want to play with them and live loooonnngggg.
I have no clue yet how to manage the sugar and I have never had to diet in my life....I was once a real cutie...
Any tips (especially regarding dieting) I would gladly appreciate.
I would love to team up with people and do this together.
