Dan here. While I've not made scripture memory a habit, I've been working on being consistent with daily Bible reading. I use www.youversion.com for helping to keep on track with a plan, and I 'listen' as I read using www.bible.is. (The audio players in youversion just don't work on my computers. They say it's there, but it does not work.
Also, I sometimes like to use 'The Message'. Due to the 'funny' verse marking in The Message, you can't just read it on You version. A paragraph that shows 3-4 verses, keeps repeating the paragraph from the beginning for each verse. The folks at YouVersion know this is happening, but they point the finger at The Message data as provided as incompatible with their system, thus you can't easily read this on their 'web' version.
on Spark people for a week. I'm amazed by the volume of things to do. One of my "other goals" is to memorize a verse a day using scripturememory.com. I challenge everyone to join me and we'll track our success.
