I definately will let you know! I LOVE pancakes. They're a guilty pleasure. I may actually order the wonderslim pancakes sometime too (which is on that site as well under the wonderslim category). Normally my protein pancakes come out okay but not GREAT... maybe a mix specifically made to be pancakes will come out even better! They sent me a free sample of the pancakes with my last order.. I didn't notice it until lately because it was in the bottom of the box!
My favorite bars are the chocorite bars (any and ALL flavors), but the wonderslim bars are good too (and you get extra savings if you buy them in value packs, and I like extra savings LOL!) Bariwise as a peanut butter and jelly bar that looks sooooooo good, but it has gelatin in it so I can't have it (I'm a vegetarian) I personally would have the bars as a snack replacement instead of a meal replacement, because they don't have the added nutrients like the shakes do, but they'd still probably make better meals than some people eat! Especially if you have a piece of fruit with it.
If you decide to order feel free to send me sparkmail and let me know before you order - they have a refer-a-friend program where you can send someone a code that gives them $20 off their first purchase of $40 or more (and I think the free shipping is applied BEFORE the $20 discount is taken off, but I'm not totally sure... it'd be worth putting the code in to see!) I just discovered it and started playing with it, and I like sharing it with people because, like I said, I like saving money as much as possible and I like helping other people save money as much as possible too.
Thanks, Susy! I'll probably be kinda quiet, but I'll be here.
And thanks to you too, Skinnie! I just recently discovered the chocorite shakes. I bought their protein bars at first, which are AWESOMELY tasty, and have only 95 calories per bar (with 9 grams of protein and 10 grams of fiber!) I didn't want to try the shakes at first because I figured the bars would be hard to beat (and I've never been a huge protein shake fan anyway) but I decided to give them a try and I'm glad I did. I definitely recommend them to someone who's looking to try something different. They've got fiber, they've got protein, they've got vitamins and minerals, AND they've got taste... they've got it all! Hehe.
I haven't tried making protein pancakes with them yet, but this weekend I'm hoping for peanut butter protein pancakes with cherry chia jam. yum yum!
Hello! I'm new (again) to SP. After trying Medifast, I was looking for a cheaper alternative and found the Simple Diet, and that's what I follow now. My shake of choice is Chocorite shakes (especially peanut butter! Yum! www.dietdirect.com/chocolite-sugar-f re e-protein-shake-mix-chocoriteshakemiR>x-peanutbutter.html ) It's the first time I've found a shake that I can't seem to get tired of, so maybe I can make a go of pushing forward in my weight loss efforts this time!
Just wanted to say hi, I guess. Time to go look around!
