Welcome to the group !! I bought my copy of the book from amazon. Basically you eat two lean cuisine dinners /smartones/ healthy choice that have at least 10g of protein and less than 9g of fat and less than 300 caloriesa day. You also drink 3 protein shakes like slim fast/special K or any others and eat 5 servings minimal of fruits and vegetables a day . You also need to move and exercise off at least 2000 calories a week . spark people can calculate that for you !

Hi Eleanor, Welcome to the Simple diet team! It really is as simple as it sounds FLKAIN, BROOKRIVER and SKINNYSOMEDAY have all lost significant amounts of weight ...so check out their pages and blogs. I also lost 30 pounds last year before going wobbly and gaining 13 back. We are happy to have you on the team.
I'm also a 'newbie.' I just began The Simple Diet a week ago and have lost six pounds! I know that the first week will probably give the biggest results, but still! Six pounds makes me happy! I don't feel hungry much, and am actually eating a little less than the diet even allows for. The one thing I'm doing is making sure I get plenty of exercise every day, in the form of taking my dog for a good walk. I wear a Fitbit (pedometer) and am exceeding 10,000 step every day, and I think that is helping a lot.

Hi! I would like to join your group to try this diet (sigh) plan. Someone I know tried it and she is losing weight so go her! I don't have the book yet so I'm not sure about the details but I thought I would at least join this in the mean time.
