I'm also a 'newbie.' I just began The Simple Diet a week ago and have lost six pounds! I know that the first week will probably give the biggest results, but still! Six pounds makes me happy! I don't feel hungry much, and am actually eating a little less than the diet even allows for. The one thing I'm doing is making sure I get plenty of exercise every day, in the form of taking my dog for a good walk. I wear a Fitbit (pedometer) and am exceeding 10,000 step every day, and I think that is helping a lot.
