Hi I'm Teri. I've been a member here at Sparkpeople for longer than I care to admit to still be in the shape that I'm in. LOL! I am not a great advertisement for results I guess but I'm stellar for persistance. I found the "Simple Diet" through the Woman's World article, got the book and picked today 2/27/12 as my start date. I'm back at my highest weight ever after several months of suddenly taking on the role as caregiver to my elderly parents-in-law. Too much stress and a fast food diet will do that to a person. I needed something as quick and "mindless" as fast food and this seemed like it might fit the bill while life is so chaotic. I love to cook when I'm not so stressed out but right now meal planning takes mental energy I don't have. So here I am. I've been reading the board for a couple of hours and I'm encouraged to see how its working for y'all. I hope to learn a lot and to share and help when I can.
