Anime ~ check the nutrition information on the powder for your shakes. If the value includes skim milk your powder may not be providing enough protein for you. If this is the case there are many other options for powder that will meet the plan requirements without the added milk. I also use unsweetened almond milk to mix some of my shakes and if it gets too rich try going half & half with water.

Thank you all for the warm welcome :) I am eating an entree right now wishing there was a way to lose faster, but since I didn't gain all of this weight overnight, I know I can't lose it overnight either. That would be pretty awesome if that was a possibility though ;)

I downloaded the book a week ago and have been reading it over every couple days to check and make sure I am within the guidelines. I have learned that maybe I shouldn't allow meal bars because I will eat them like candy and still be hungry. I also learned that I am lactose intolerant possibly so I tried making my shakes with almond milk. They were too "rich" so I will try adding some water to thin them out a bit and see how that goes. I lost 1.5 pounds over the past week, not a lot but better than gaining :) Here's to another week looking for a loss!

Anime welcome to the team. If you have not picked up the book yet I suggest that you do as there is so much information there that will help you on your journey.

Nancy the Dietitian who co-wrote the book is part of our team and tries to stop in at least once a week to answer any questions we may have.

Hello!

I read about this plan in women's world a week or so ago and decided to give it a go. I have a very busy schedule so the idea of preportioned meals really appealed to me. I'm looking forward to making some new friends and having a support group to help me through this process. :)
