The best part about joining the teams is there is no right or wrong way to do it. Do whatever works best for you! Welcome!
Welcome to SP and welcome to the Do Better team! Remember that teams are a great place to find sparkfriends and get support when you need it, so having several teams is a good idea. You don't have to post in a team every day, but we can be there to help support you when you need it.
One good thing about SP is that while we get to know our sparkfriends, there is still a level of anonymity that can give us the chance to say what is really going on with us without having to "save face". We all have challenges in our journey, some are very different than others (for instance I have an opposite journey than most on SP), but by supporting each other we learn about ourselves and can have a better chance of success.
It's tough to have a spouse away often and to look after 4 kids. Now's as good of a time as any to take back a little time for yourself and put yourself first a little more often. Learning a healthier lifestyle will also help your children have brighter futures by learning how to succeed and meet goals from their mom. Best wishes on your journey and I hope our team will help you do better!

Every Day is a Chance to Do a Little Better! Forgive Yesterday, Hope For Tomorrow, Do Better Today!
My sparkfriends are my greatest support and I'm grateful for it.
I'm very new to all of this and have to admit, I'm a little overwhelmed. I think I signed up for too many teams for a beginner! This is my first post to any team and I'm not really sure how this all works yet or what I'm supposed to say. I just basically wanted to put myself out there. I'm working on a better me and discovered this site a few days ago and so far, I love it. It may just be the support system that I need in order to succeed. It's a pleasure to interact with others who may be facing the same challenges (or not) as myself but more importantly, I appreciate individual life experiences and look forward to learning about yours! I'm a mother of 4, am married but my husband is always working so I pretty much do everything myself. I have to find ways to incorporate "me" time into our every day lives. I love my kids, more than I could ever describe but my interests and health have been placed on the back burner for too long! A happier me, will result in a happier family, so here I am, doing the best that I can with what I have!!
