Welcome! Looks like we have a lot in common, I am bipolar and a mother as well and until Spark People was at a low point in my health as well. I wish you the best also, keeping a gratitude journal like suggested would be a good start. Since you are craving so much I don't know how well a juice diet for the moment will work for you, just eat low calorie , healthy , superfoods....there's a post in this very group for a bunch of superfoods for a $1!! :D How cool is that. I will add you as a friend so that we may talk, also blogging on here is good too, also track your food and exercise. !! :D

Welcome, I am new too! getting a slow start lost 2 lbs last week and I feel good about it. I tried the Detox Juice I didn't last needed something with substanance it is more like look at what you put on your plate for dinner and cut it by 1/4 the first week. the second week cut the Meat & potatoes in half and increase the veggie by 1/2. I do not feel like I am being cheated out of anything and I am full at the end of dinner. I am trying real hard to have a piece of fruit for a snack before bed that is the hard one for me I love my popcorn. Just be careful with limited diets they normally do not work for long. Welcome! You have a lot of friends here, and I suspect you have two little friends at home. You don't say how old your little ones are, but you can involve them in your healthy efforts. When the weather is nice take them walking, or just run around the yard with them. If it's nasty outside, put on some lively music and dance around the room with them. I'll bet they'd love to help you!

and good luck with your goals. I am wondering if maybe starting a gratitude journal might not be a good idea for you as you sound quite unhappy and may need to concentrate on the good things in your life. It is important to get straight what is good and just center as much as possible on them. Everyone has good and not so good in their lives , start with how lucky you are to have small children whom you still can love and teach to be good people.

Well I guess that my topic just about said it all!! I am now the unhealthiest that I have ever been in my life but I'm trying to get out of it. Starting last week I'm walking/jogging 3 miles 6x a week and today is my first day of my juicing detox. I'm juicing fruits and veggies for ten days and other then water thats it. I'm hoping that that will jumpstart my metabolism and change my palate. But, I'M CRAVING EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN RIGHT NOW!!! It definitely doesn't help having two kids at home all day either! I don't really have any friends and I could really use some encouragement right now!!
