Welcome and good luck Christy! Keep posting but more than that read, read and read some more. It takes a while but it does sink in and make sure you choose some things to make changes and then abide by your choices. Will keep my eyes open for your progress.

Hi! My name is Christy. I have many reasons for joining this site. First of all, I want to gain support without having to go to another meeting and stand on a scale. I would rather do that in the privacy of my own home - yes, I recently quit weight watchers. I want to get to know people dealing with some of my same struggles - eating too much sugar, getting back into exercise after being gone awhile, and struggling to conceive. I am only 20-25 pounds overweight, but my doctor says that losing weight could help with the infertility stuff. My biggest weaknesses, in regard to food, are ice cream and starbucks frappachino drinks! My cholesterol is high (220) and my triglcerides are high as well. I am still young and do not want to be put on medicine. I want to get this under control with my diet and exercise. Just needing encouragement. I do have a membership to a gym and time - I have no excuses for not working out. Time to do this!!!
