Spice it up Girl. You can do this. 30 lbs. is awe-inspiring. Keep going. Stay healthy. This is no longer about your looks....its about your life. Weight lose will put that diabetes into remission. Do it!!! You must do it. Look at all the support and love you've got here.
Sounds like you are on the right track... the good news, you can reverse the diabetes with proper diet and exercise... you are better off in the long run by taking care of that now. Your health is SO worth it. Good luck.

Hi there! My name is Michelle and I am from the Windy City!! In January 2012, I was diagnosed with Diabetes. Since then, I have cut back on lots of the food that I love, eliminated soda and began drinking lots more water. I have lost 30 pounds but my doctor said I need to lose more to, hopefully, get rid of the Diabetes. She says I am still young enough to control it with eating right and exercising. That's easier said than done. I have kept off the weight I've lost (i might have gained a pound or 2 over the holidays, lol) but I seem to be stuck in a rut. I guess I'm getting bored and need something to spicy up my exercise routine and get back on track. So, that's why I'm here and hopefully this challenge will be just what I need.
