I started by doing 10 min, then moved up to 10 min. twice a day and more as I could. That way I did not seem sore, but it got me in the right direction.
Keep working at it, YOU are worth it.

Please know that you are worth the effort it will take to lose the weight. I will be praying for you. I have only been on spark about 2 months but it has really helped me to understand some of the reasons I over eat. Its not a miracle but if you really get involved with all the people willing to help motivate you you will succeed.

First and foremost, welcome to SP. Know that this will take work - and SP has all kinds of wonderful articles, teams, and ways to help you stay accountable. Find what works for you, try a few new things along the way, and don't give up. I've been here nearly a year and learned that it was hard work to lose 40 lbs *granted, I am much older than you! But at your age, you can get this weight off, learn good habits, and start the path to a healthy and happy life. You are worth this! I hope you stick around and meet your goals.
