My name is Lyss I am a 32 year old mom of two. I am looking to lose the baby weight as well as the weight I was trying to lose before getting pregnant - all in all approximately 50lbs. With two kids under the age of 3 fitting in a workout can be tough - but I am trying not to use that as an excuse. I get out for long walks with my kids (pushing the 50+ pounds around for an hour in the stroller is a pretty tough workout itself!) but looking to do more strengthening exercises.

I know it is hard, but remember you did not gain it over night. It will come off with the work you have been doing. Please be patient and keep up exercising and watch what you eat. Have a good weekend.

I began my weight loss journey in May. Since then I have lost about 30 lbs. However, over the last month, I have only lost 3lbs. The cardio workouts I was doing for the first three months, started to get really really boring. I found myself rationalizing reasons to step off the treadmill, and sometimes I simply skip my workouts all together. Recently, my idea of a workout had been a 45 min low impact stroll on the treadmill. This leaves me feeling unsatisfied, and unmotivated to return the next day. I am hoping this challenge will get me back into the habit of getting in a good workout, and that the structure and accountability will motivate me to work harder. I have a long way to go. I still need to lose another 50lbs, I hope this challenge gives me the jump start I so desperately need.
